How is recruitment organized at Holcim Bangladesh Group companies?

  • New recruitment based on the recommendation of the functional head.
  • After the functional head's approval the candidate shall be given appointment on probation.
  • Details of appointment on Probation of the candidate are given to the Chief Executive Officer, Human Resources and Finance Department for information.
  • The probation period is 3 months but it may be extended to another 3 months if the functional head decides that the performance of the new officer is not up to the standard.
  • If service of the probationer is found unsatisfactory during the probation period, the functional head informs the probationer in writing before the completion of probation period.
  • The functional head may terminate the services of the probationer at any time, without assigning any reason and the probationer shall not get any notice prior to compensation for such termination.
  • Final approval is required from the Chief Executive Officer for issuing the confirmation letter and additions to the permanent payroll of the company.
  • A police clearance certificate is required at the time of issuing confirmation letter.
